Kingshot Troop Training Guide: Train or Promote with a Plan
Training new troops and promoting existing troops are separate choices. Use the current objective and queue context to decide which question you need to answer first.

Start with the troop context
Barracks, Stable, and Range represent different planning contexts for Infantry, Cavalry, and Archer training. Choose the troop type and the immediate use case before judging a queue.
- Name the troop type you are planning for.
- Name the action that needs usable strength next.

Keep training and promotion separate
Training adds new troops; promotion concerns troops you already own. Do not collapse them into one generic instruction, because they can serve different account needs.
Collect the inputs before deciding
Review the intended troop type, current and target tier where relevant, quantity, available queue, speed-up inventory, immediate action goal, and the live context in your game.
Compare opportunity costs
Compare immediate usable strength, queue commitment, speed-up consumption, and timing as separate trade-offs. The better choice depends on which trade-off is currently limiting your objective.
Review the live context
Before committing a large queue or speed-ups, inspect the in-game objective, eligibility, timing, and scoring conditions that apply to your account.
